Lifeline Children’s Services

Lifeline Children’s Services serves vulnerable children and families as a holistic orphan care ministry. We desire to share gospel hope through each area of ministry, including adoption, orphan care, pregnancy counseling, family restoration, and education and counseling.

Lifeline began ministering to women in unexpected pregnancies in 1981 and has continued to grow in services to children and families. Lifeline now offers adoption services in all 50 states as well as internationally. For those children who will not be adopted, Lifeline engages in orphan care domestically and internationally, partnering with churches to teach life skills and provide the support they need to thrive in the world outside of orphanages and foster care.

Lifeline also believes in family restoration when possible and healthy for children. For that reason, Lifeline partners with local churches to provide gospel-centered foster care training and continuing education. In addition, Lifeline equips local churches to engage at-risk families in state-mandated parenting classes.

A vital crucial part of caring for children is helping build healthy families. That’s why Lifeline pours into the vital ministry of counseling. Adoptive families, foster families, and others who experience the challenges of trauma and the difficulties of life can benefit greatly from the outside help of trained professionals. Our counselors care about the whole person and are tools God can use to bring healing into lives and families. They are trained in Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), Theraplay®, EMDR, parent coaching, and other practical and professional ways to reach into the hearts and minds of family members so that God can bring healing.

Lifeline’s counseling services are available in the BMBA office building. For more information or to schedule an appointment, please visit https://lifelinechild.org/family-counseling/.
